Terms and Conditions for Personal Banking Privileged Plan Member-Get-Member Referral Program:
A. General Terms and Conditions:
1. The promotion period is from 1 July 2015 to 30 September 2015, both dates inclusive (the “Promotion Period”).
2. To be eligible to participate in the Member-Get-Member Referral Program (the “Referral Program”), Referrer (the “Referrer”) must be an existing client of the Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”). Business clients, clients holding Standard Chartered Business Card or Standard Chartered Corporate Card, and/or designated frontline staff of the Bank are not eligible as Referrer under this Referral Program.
3. To be eligible to participate in the Referral Program, Referee must NOT hold any products or services with the Bank (including but not limited to any deposits account, investment services and insurance) except Standard Chartered Credit Card^ in the past 12 months prior to his/her Personal Banking Privilege Plan sign up date (the “Referee”).
4. Referrers cannot refer themselves as new clients. The Referee who has been successfully referred by one Referrer cannot be repeatedly referred by the same Referrer or other Referrer(s).
5. If Referrer is entitled to the Referral Offer as well as other promotional Offers, the Bank reserves the right to grant the Referrer one of or part of the prevailing offer or other Offers. For avoidance of doubt, Referrer who is eligible to other Member-Get-Member Offer will not be entitled to this Referral Offer. Separate Terms and Conditions apply to other promotion Offers. Please check with the Bank’s staff for details.
6. All offers cannot be transferred or converted into cash, unless otherwise specified.
7. Terms and Conditions of relevant Asia Miles Program apply for redemption and/or use of Asia Miles. For details, please visit www.asiamiles.com. The Bank is not obliged to notify clients of any changes or latest announcements of Asia Miles. Clients understand and accept that the Bank is not supplier of the redeemed items (including Asia Miles). The Bank shall bear no liability relating to any aspect of the Asia Miles and/or redeemed items, including without limitation, their quality, the supply, the descriptions provided by the supplier, any false trade description, misrepresentation, mis-statement, omission, unauthorized representation, unfair trade practices or conduct in connection with the Asia Miles and/or redeemed items provided by the supplier, its employees, officers or agents.
8. The Bank reserves the right to vary, modify or terminate all the above Offers, and to amend any of the Terms and Conditions from time to time. Referrer’s eligibility to the Referral Offer, including in respect of the calculation of Referee’s total balance at the Bank, and the calculation methods of Referral Offer, is to be determined by the Bank, based on the Bank’s latest record. In case of disputes, the Bank’s decision and record shall be final and binding.
9. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and the Chinese versions, the English version shall apply and prevail.
 
B. Terms and Conditions for Personal Banking Privileged Plan Member-Get-Member Referral Offer (the “Referral Offer”):
1. To enjoy the Referral Offer, Eligible Referrer (the “Eligible Referrer”) must make a successful referral of Referee to sign up for Personal Banking Privileged Plan (the “Banking Plan”) during the Promotion Period with ALL the following Terms and Conditions fulfilled (“Successful Referral”):
 
a) The Eligible Referrer must submit the Member-Get-Member Referral Form in person to one of the branches of the Bank during the Promotion Period prior to or on the same date the Referee signs up a new Banking Plan; the Member-Get-Member Referral Form must be signed by both Eligible Referrer and the Referee ; and
b) The Eligible Referrer continues to be an existing client of the Bank until the Referral Offer is arranged by the end of March 2016; and
c) The Referee must successfully sign up the new Banking Plan during the Promotion Period; and
d) Referee has to take up or hold HKD Savings Account, HKD Current Account (or any Foreign Currency Savings Account), Standard Chartered executive Credit Card, Standard Chartered ATM Card, and Online Banking Services (or Phone Banking Services) upon the New Account sign-up. Referee must complete the registration of Online Banking Services or use the Phone Banking Services at least once within 2 weeks from the date of signing up for the Banking Plan; and
e) Referee has to procure a New Fund Growth Amount (defined below) of not less than HK$200,000 within 2 weeks from the date of signing up for the New Account. Any amount of new funds deposited by Referee (by cash, cheque/cashier’s order, inward CHATs, telegraphic transfer from other banks excluding any transfer of funds from any accounts within the Bank) to grow his/ her total balance at the Bank (including the aggregate balance of deposits, investments and accumulated premiums of selected insurance under personal account as primary account holder) shall be considered as the “New Funds Growth Amount”; and
f) Referee is required to maintain the new total balance (that is, the New Funds Growth Amount) of Banking Plan until the designated date below:

2. Referral Offer will be given to Eligible Referrer as per table shown below:

a) There is no maximum limit on Referral Offer for successful referrals.
a) Eligible Referrer holding only the Bank’s credit card will only be entitled to select Cash Rebate as Referral Offer.
3. If the Eligible Referrer chooses Cash Rebate as Referral Offer, the Bank will credit the relevant amount of Cash Rebate, if any, to the HKD deposit account (excluding MortgageOne® Account and Mortgage $aver Current Account) under Eligible Referrer’s personal name as Primary Account Holder with the Bank in the following sequence: i) Integrated Deposits Account; ii) Current Account; iii) Statement Savings Account and; iv) Passbook Savings Account; v) Credit Card Account by the end of March 2016. If the Eligible Referrer has no valid HKD deposit account, the Bank will credit to Eligible Referrer’s USD deposit account as above sequence. For joint name account, only if the Eligible Referrer is the Primary Account Holder. If the Eligible Referrer has more than one account under same account type or has more than one Credit Card, the Bank will select any one of the deposit accounts or Credit Card Accounts for the crediting at its discretions with the latest account opening date. Notification Letter will be mailed to the Eligible Referrer upon successful crediting of Cash Rebate.
4. If the Eligible Referrer chooses Asia Miles as Referral Offer, Eligible Referrer must have an existing Asia Miles Membership Account or set up an Asia Miles Membership Account for the entitlement of Asia Miles Reward. Eligible Referrer must have successfully registered online within 2 weeks from the date of Referee’s Banking Plan sign-up with valid Asia Miles membership in the name of the Eligible Referrer at the Bank’s website at sc.com/hk to enjoy the relevant Asia Miles. Successful registration cannot be cancelled. The Bank will forward the relevant information, including valid Asia Miles membership number and full name in English of the Eligible Referrer, as well as the entitled miles, if any, to Asia Miles in February 2016. Asia Miles will be credited directly to the Eligible Referrer’s Asia Miles account by the end of March 2016. In case of information submitted is incorrect or insufficient as considered by the Bank, Cash Rebate will be made available in replacement of Asia Miles to Eligible Referrer, and will be credited to Eligible Referrer’s HKD deposit account (according to the sequence as stated in above clause B3) with related Terms and Conditions fulfilled by the end of April 2016 as the Referral Offer. For avoidance of doubt, Terms and Conditions of Asia Miles shall apply for mileage redemptions. For details, please visit www.asiamiles.com.
5. Referees’ Personal Banking Privileged Plan and the relevant banking products and services mentioned under clause 1 of Section B and the Eligible Referrers’ banking services with the Bank must remain valid at the time of the Referral Offer is delivered to the Eligible Referrer under the offers above. Otherwise, the Referral Offer will be forfeited absolutely and not be provided to the Eligible Referrer through any other means.
 
^ Standard Chartered Credit Cards refer to Standard Chartered Credit Card, Standard Chartered WorldMiles Card and Standard Chartered co-branded Credit Card (including supplementary cards and corporate cards) issued by the Bank.
